About the procedure
What was done
A beard that was full on the chin and the moustache, but hollow on the cheeks and along the jaw: the skin showed through in patches, and the sideburns did not meet the rest.
The procedure filled in those sparse areas on both sides, and closed the gaps from the cheek down to the jaw. The upper line of the beard was drawn deliberately straight: that was the patient's own wish, stated at the consultation and followed as it was.
The after photographs are taken at six months. A beard keeps thickening beyond that: the final result is judged around the twelfth month.
