Hair transplant

Patient 95

This patient had previously undergone a hair transplant procedure in a clinic abroad, which unfortunately resulted in a poor outcome, as only a very limited number of follicular units survived. He had been told that 4,000 grafts were transplanted, however this was clearly not the case. The implantation along the frontal hairline had been performed at an angle that was far too perpendicular to the skin, and multi-hair grafts, including 2-hair and 3-hair follicular units, had been placed directly in the hairline. Our approach was deliberately conservative. We chose to preserve some of the existing hair within the frontal line in order to maintain a more natural transition, and we focused on grafting the depleted areas as well as reconstructing the entire anterior third. This represents the result at 9 months post-procedure.
